Make-up is something that a lot of us love however it can get expensive. Some of us are naturally drawn towards more higher end make-up as we automatically assume a higher price tag equals higher quality. I thought i'd share my top 10 favourite low priced make up with still the high end quality, so maybe you can save some ££ next time you buy for your make-up kit.
Number 10 - Rimmel Glam Eyes Liquid Eye Liner £5.29 Boots
I've been using this eyeliner since i was about 14 years old. An oldie but goodie. I find it is super easy to work with and the fine brush means you can have your eyeliner sharp enough to cut someone which is the look we all want when trying to achieve the perfect wing. It also leaves a super black finish that lasts all day.
Number 9 - Revolution Soph X Highlighter palette £8.00 Superdrug
This 8 pan highlighter palette is great value for money retailing at £8 equalling £1 per pan. You get a great variety of shades (5 baked and 3 pressed highlighters) so it pretty much suits most skin tones. I love this palette because i can use it when i'm more pale and after I've got more of a tan from holiday. Also no matter what finish you want, more of a subtle look or a high glam blinding highlighter moment, you can get it all with this palette.
Number 8 - Milani Baked Bronzer £12.75 Boots
This is one of the more expensive products I have listed but i honestly think it is a must have. I've only been using this bronzer over the last few months but i am already hooked. It gives you the most beautiful sun kissed golden goddess finish. It's not however a matt finish it has a shimmer to it so if you are a matt kinda girl this product may not be for you, BUT if you love your skin to look radiant and glowy then you will love it just as much as i do.
Number 7 - NYX Professional Makeup Pro Foundation Mixer £8.00 Boots
This product has honestly changed my life. You can get it in a range of colours so whether you need to lighter your foundation or darken it you can get a shade to do that. I was always so fed up of buying more expensive foundations when i got a tan just to be able to wear it for a couple of weeks before my tan faded. This product allows me to carry on using my higher end foundation when i have more of a tan without having to fork out another £30 for a darker shade. A little goes a long way with this product so it will last you a while making that £8 so worth it!
Number 6 - NYX Professional Makeup Setting Spray Dewy Finish £7.00 Boots
If you're looking for a decent setting spray but don't want to spend £26 on Urban Decay All Nighter than look no further. This spray will make your make up last all day and night and is a great dupe. It comes in a matt finish as well as a Dewy finish.
Number 5 - Obsession Eyeshadow palettes £10.00 Boots
I've tried many different drug store eyeshadow palettes before but none have compared to the obsession palettes. You get 12 eyeshadows in each £10 palette which is amazing value. They are honestly the most pigmented and easy to work with drugstore eyeshadows i have every used. The Belle Jorden collaboration is ,y personal favourite.
Number 4 - Revolution Conceal and Define £4.00 Superdrug
This concealer is a great dupe for the tarte shape tape concealer that retails at £22. It's a great full coverage concealer that makes your skin look flawless. I'd hurry up and grab one though as they don't stay on the shelves too long!
Number 3 - NYX Professional Makeup Glitter Primer £8.00 Boots
If you love a bit of glitter or a nice shimmery pigment then you NEED this product in your make up kit. It's £9 cheaper than the Too Faced glitter glue retailing at £17 and it works just as well. It's so easy to use and makes sure your glitter doesn't move or all off. It's so easy to use and i don't know what i would do without this product.
Number 2 - Barry M All Night Long Concealer £4.49 Boots
I know I've already listed a concealer but they're honestly both so amazing. The All Night long concealer is my ride or die. It's not too thick so it's great if you don't want a too full coverage finish but you can still build it if you do. I'm never without this product in my kit.
Number 1 - NYX Professional Makeup Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick £7.00 Boots
This is honestly one of my favourite lipsticks. A lot of liquid lipsticks feel drying, however this lipstick feels so creamy on the lips which makes it comfortable to wear. It comes in so many different shades so there's a shade for everyone! A lot of thew products i have listed are from boots which normally offer a 3 for 2 deal so even more saving!
